About us
We met in nursing school, and both of us have a passion for nature and the environment. We love the outdoors and spend our summers gardening. By composting we were able to make our own fertilizers for our garden and help the environment in the process.
We believe in what we do. We know that our everyday choices matter to help our planet. Too much waste goes into our oceans and landfills. By composting you can help to drastically reduce the amount of waste that is destroying our planet. That’s why we started 802 Compost Services. We’ve been composting for the last 5 years, and wanted to make it available to everyone. We can all do our part help make the earth a better and greener place.

About composting
Vermonters have learned about ACT 148, the statewide mandate that requires all residents to stop throwing out food scraps as of July 1 st , 2020; because they inevitably make their way to the landfills. 802 Compost Services has laid the groundwork to help our communities start to be more responsible for the environmental footprint they leave behind by proving an affordable and efficient compost pickup service for all Vermonters.

Our Buckets
Get Your Own Today!
802 Compost Services will provide you with your bucket, and lid for a one time initial fee of $8.54/Bucket.
We will also provide you with a compostable liner to get started (and will replace it after each pickup).
Just place your bucket outside your residence with the logo facing forward toward the road on your designated pickup day, and we will do the rest.
